On behalf of everyone at GRID Alternatives Central Valley, we want to take time to thank those who made 2014 one of our most successful years to date. As we reflect on 2014 and look forward to 2015 we have come to realize that our success is because of you……and you are our volunteers, donors, employment and training partners, schools, and of course, the communities and families we serve in the region. We feel fortunate to have helped many individuals gain employment in the solar industry through utilization of our Team Leader Program. Homeowners stepped up big by providing over 1,900 meals to staff and those installing solar systems with us be it community volunteers, job trainees, or corporate partners. It is also interesting to note that more than 2,160 feet have been on valley rooftops installing solar with us; and that women of the Central Valley contributed a total of 1,584 volunteer hours with GRID. Talk about some amazing stuff………we are really grateful for all that has been done to help move GRID’s mission forward this year. Looking to 2015, we are excited to continue building support for what we do best and that is…. “Installing Solar”. Wishing everyone the best for 2015 and thank you very much for all you do!
