The successful Women in Solar Program has been working to build a diverse, equitable, and inclusive solar industry.
At the Greater Los Angeles regional office of GRID Alternatives, we launched Women in Solar as an online initiative on November 5, showcasing existing GRID efforts to promote women in solar and amplifying the voices of thoughtful women from across the sustainability world.
November's opportunity was an informative event that involved extensive planning between GRID staff and the Greater Los Angeles Board of Directors.
We appreciate Board Treasurer Rahima Butler's leadership in providing the vision for this event, and acknowledge Alicia Schwarz and Sarah Wauters for their extensive contributions to all of our success!
