Pinoleville Pomo Nation's Community Gym now is powered by the Sun!
The Bay Area North Coast office is excited to share that we are working in partnership with Pinoleville Pomo Nation to install a ~20 kW solar electric system on the community gym. We are fortunate to have engaged 3 Trainees on this project, who are going through GRID’s online Installation Basic Training and gaining at least 40 hours of paid hands-on training during the gym solar installation. Two of our Trainees are members of the Pinoleville Pomo Nation, and one came to GRID through a partnership with Mendocino College. We are grateful that this opportunity was made possible through GRID’s Tribal Solar Accelerator (TSAF) fund, and are very much looking forward to the next phase of the solar installation and more projects in partnership with Pinoleville Pomo Nation!
