Growing up in a traditional Mexican household, Amaris learned all about gender roles. She has never been one to accept something that didn't make sense, though, and it wasn't long before she launched her own career in the trades. Now, she leads teams in the field for GRID Bay Area. In her words, "Women have a powerful voice and presence, so get out there and make a difference!"

Marissa’s friendly attitude shines just as brightly as the sun as she welcomes the Bay Area’s hundreds of volunteers and job trainees into our solar community.

With a background in computer science and organizational behavior. Becky worked in systems consulting, marketing operations, and was even a yoga instructor for a time before deciding to make a transition into solar construction.
