Our Executive Director attended the November 17 Spurs-Lakers game at STAPLES Center for a special recognition that means a lot! Michael Kadish became the inaugural recipient of LG's Solar Community Champion title, and accepted his award on behalf of the GRID Alternatives Greater Los Angeles organization during a televised appearance at half-court. The Lakers game honors, which acknowledge phenomenal work to bring renewable energy and jobs to underserved communities, reminded thousands of onlookers about the powerful impact that Michael has led building GRID Alternatives for over six years. In fact, you might say that giving Michael this prize was a veritable slam dunk.

"This award belongs to everyone who has built GRID GLA into the amazing organization it is today, from the hardworking staff to our inspirational trainees.
