2018 CLEAN ENERGY FOR AFFORDABLE HOUSING
FUNDRAISER & SOLAR BLITZ BUILD
August 30, 2018
WOODLAND, CA
The 6 million units of federally subsidized rental housing across the US represent a huge opportunity for renewable energy that is largely unserved by the for-profit solar industry. GRID Alternatives is helping catalyze the sector by providing no-cost technical assistance and low-cost design and installation services for affordable housing owners and developers who provide housing and vital services to low-income renters. This Fall, GRID is raising funds to grow our region's Energy for All services to affordable housing communities in the North Valley.
Join us in making clean energy accessible to affordable housing! On August 30, 2018, GRID is installing solar for a farmworker affordable housing community in Woodland, CA. Particpate in our blitz build by donating, become an event sponsor or volunteer! Contact Becca Russell with any questions - brussell@gridalternatives.org or 916.585.8536.
