Monica Slabaugh

Monica Slabaugh (she/her) is Solar Installation Supervisor at GRID Alternatives North Valley. Monica brings two years of photo voltaic construction expertise in residential solar installation from design to final inspection. She got her start in solar at GRID Alternatives Central Coast as a SolarCorps Construction Fellow (2017), where she later became the lead PV instructor and curriculum creator of the Solar Futures 40-hour job training program. Monica holds a B.F.A. in Sculpture from Indiana University Bloomington. She is passionate about solar technology, workforce development, and environmental justice. When she's not on a roof or in a service panel, she's probably catching up on podcasts, running, or biking.
