JB Abbott is a dedicated member of the Workforce and Technical Academy team at Grid Alternatives, where they serve as a coordinator and job developer for the workforce development program. With a foundation in public science education, they are passionate about promoting environmental justice and equitable education. They earned a master's degree in teaching and a bachelor's degree in physics from CSU Sacramento, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to make a meaningful impact in their field. In their free time, JB enjoys spending quality time playing board games with friends and family, cuddling with their beloved cat Matilda, and immersing themselves in captivating nature books.
