Jorge Del Toro
Outreach Coordinator
Jorge studied Politics and Legal Studies at the University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC), where he focussed his curriculum on environmental policy and practices of sustainability. He spent his time at UCSC running educational programs on social justice, planning philanthropy events in collaboration with local nonprofits, and organizing the university's annual Practical Activism Conference. Jorge became committed to serving low-income communities after spending time combating food insecurity in Watsonville, CA. In his free time, Jorge enjoys creating traditional and digital art, hiking through the redwoods of California, and daydreaming about attending the United Nations Climate Change Conference.
