This month we had some very special visitors swing by our offices. Julia Burrows, Senior Policy Advisor on Housing and Climate issues to Sacramento Mayor Darrell Steinberg and Jennifer Venema, Sustainability Manager for the City of Sacramento toured our Technical Academy. They brought along interns Mois Mir, Juan Carrero and RuQayya Al-Attiyeh. Our staff explained the GRID low-income solar model, described how important our connection is with our clients, and demonstrated our Installation Basics Training program in action. The City of Sacramento is seeking collaborations with GRID to provide equity in sustainability programming for Sacramento's under-resourced and underserved communities.
