Zara Jamshed

Zara Jamshed is the SOMAH Technical Coordinator. Originally from New York City, they moved out to the Bay Area hoping to find passionate environmentalists and activists. Zara completed a B.A. in Engineering Arts and a Concentration in Climate Change at Smith College in 2017, where they gained experience in PV system design, environmental non-profit work, and social justice education. Zara is excited to continue learning more about the solar industry and contributing to GRID’s mission of environmental justice.
