We’re thrilled to have been selected to administer the program development and case management services for the Sacramento Clean Cars 4 All (CC4A) program (slated to launch in January 2020). This program, managed by the Sacramento Metropolitan Air Quality Management District, was designed to help residents of low-income and disadvantaged communities to scrap their older, polluting cars and replace them with cleaner, electric vehicles. CC4A also emphasizes education on clean vehicle technology, consumer protection, and coordination with other clean transportation programs.
According to the DMV, nine million cars that drive on California roads are 15 years or older. This program allows individuals to turn in their older vehicles and receive up to $9,500 to use toward a new or nearly new zero-emission vehicle. There are also alternative incentives available that can be used toward public or private transportation options. More information to come as we get ready for the official launch!
