This past Sunday was our Cider for a Cause! GRID Alternatives Solar-bration event held at Two Rivers Cider in Sacramento. We brought together many GRID supporters, volunteers, donors and staff to recognize standout volunteers who went above and beyond during their time with GRID.
Our attendees enjoyed the best empanadas in Sacramento from Che’s Urban Eats food truck and savored many delicious ciders that Two Rivers Cider offers. Attendees of all ages enjoyed live music, corn hole, board games, and more. We loved seeing so many families and dogs come out to support GRID. Through the generosity of our attendees, we were able to surpass our fundraising goal and raised over $650! Proceeds will go towards our installation training program, which offers hands-on training to develop installation skills in the solar industry.
