Many local families had so much fun at our kiosk to spinning our prize wheel and taking photos with Sunny the Solar panel. GRID North Valley’s Executive Director, Bob Gragson, and Director of Outreach and Clean Mobility, Melanie Biesecker gave live in-game interviews on the big screen. With the additional spotlight on GRID, we received many inquiries about our no-cost solar Energy For All program, how to volunteer on upcoming solar installations, and how to take advantage of Installation Basics Training (IBT 200) job training program. Through the 50/50 raffle, we took in over $3,300 for clean energy and job training in underserved communities. A big thanks to all the North Valley staff members and GRID friends who volunteered their time to contribute to this wonderful event!
