Amenia Jones

I was born and raised on the east coast and just recently moved to California a couple of years ago, in search of something new and exciting. After completing my term with the CCC (California Conservation Corps) I discovered Americorps. I completed my first half term with the American Red Cross and realized I would like to stay in the non profit world and continue my professional growth with a second full term. After some research, I came across Solarcorps, Grid alternatives version of Americorps. Today marks my fourth month as a SolarCorps fellow and I couldn’t be more thankful for the opportunity to serve the community!
