Kyle Calvert

"I'm Kyle, an Americorps SolarCorps Construction Design Fellow, and I have been quite enjoying the GRID experience at every turn. My role in the office is as Site Visitor, & through that I get many opportunities to see our projects and potential designs up close, travel plenty over a wide service area, and put analytical and critical thinking skills to good use. Prior to SolarCorps, I'd been a bicycle mechanic for almost a decade, and in recent years I've volunteered much with the local cycling nonprofit to help provide free parts and maintenance lessons at pop-up clinics. In my free time I enjoy learning new dinner recipes, reading the occasional novel (mostly sci-fi, horror, and true crime) and spending long hours assembling, customizing, detailing and painting plastic model kits for display. The quiet life is, personally, quite satisfying."
