Alexander Velilla Robles

I'm Alexander Velilla Robles, thrilled to return to Puerto Rico, where I was born, to serve as an Assistant Solar Installation Trainer at GRID Alternatives. After some years in Florida since 2011, I'm here to promote solar energy adoption in my community. My tenure at Tesla, where I installed Tesla Solar Glass and Tesla solar panels, has equipped me with expertise in precision and safety for solar installations, knowledge I'm eager to share. I studied Music Business at Full Sail University, enhancing my public relations and communication skills, which I now use to advocate for solar energy. My work history is diverse, I've enjoyed providing exceptional customer experiences as a Cast Member at Disney World, and I've managed logistics and customer service while working for Amazon. These experiences have shaped my method of training others in the solar industry, focusing on building a skilled and dedicated workforce. Outside of work, I love fishing with my kids, exploring new music, engaging in community projects, and promoting environmental awareness. My goal at GRID Alternatives is to empower people with the skills needed to embrace renewable energy, contributing to a sustainable future for my beautiful island Puerto Rico.
