Celeste Gordon

Celeste is thrilled to be part of the Headquarter Outreach Team directly aligning clients, partners and programs for equity in clean mobility at GRID! She earned a B.A. in Education and Spanish and an M.A. from NYU’s School of Education. For over 8 years she focused exclusively on strength based community building for a nonprofit running youth and family programs in NYC public housing and schools. Deeply believing in the power of capacity building and collaboration strategy prompted certification in Not-For-Profit Management from Columbia University. Her eclectic experience includes: collaboratively designing anti-bullying curriculum and policies, scaling national projects in the US and Spain, and advocating for community organizing and participatory evaluation that are youth-led. Music and dancing are what brings her the most joy and she is proud to be a beginning student of the electric bass with Nik West.
