Luis Amar

Luis was born in Bogota where he studied Industrial Design at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia. For his graduation project, he designed and donated plans for a solar desalination plant in the San Andres Islands. He lives in San Francisco and has worked as an Industrial Designer in a wide range of industries. He started at GRID as a SolarCorps fellow in 2019 after finishing an MBA in Sustainability. In his free time you'll find him road cycling, brewing beer or riding his motorcycle on the windiest roads of California.
