Mina Defee

Mina is passionate about climate justice, specifically in regards to ensuring a just transition to renewable energy and access to sustainable, healthy, and resilient food systems. Born and raised in la Ciudad de México, Mina is fully bilingual in English and Spanish. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in international business management and a Master of Arts degree in geography with a concentration in urban sustainability from the University of Texas at San Antonio and is PMP certified. Before joining GRID, Mina was the Climate Program Manager for the Office of Sustainability at the City of San Antonio, where she coordinated the implementation of the City’s Climate Action & Adaptation Plan. Mina enjoys gardening, biking, and reading in her free time and is an avid traveler.
