Located in Tijuana, Baja California, this orphanage provides a safe and nurturing home for children and young adults. Led by a dedicated family, the organization supports youth from childhood through college, encouraging them to return and give back to their community.
The orphanage offers a variety of educational and skill-building opportunities, from sewing and crafting school supply bags for fundraising, to sports and recreational programs that foster teamwork and confidence.
Sustainability is part of their daily life: they reuse water, conserve electricity, and maintain their facilities with remarkable care. Through GRID Alternatives’ solar installation, generating 45,094.3 kWh of clean energy annually, the orphanage can now redirect energy savings toward educational and development programs for the children and youth they serve.
