The Mid-Atlantic office would like to give a huge congratulations to Antwain Nelson and Marc Spohn! These two gentlemen started as SolarCorps Construction Fellows and have each been promoted to full-time employees with GRID.
Marc came to the DC office after graduating East LA Skills Center's PV technology course. After completing hundreds of volunteer hours, and a year as a SolarCorps Construction Fellow, Marc will now be the Mid-Atlantic’s newest Solar Installation Supervisor! “I’m very grateful, each day brings me closer to where I want to be and GRID is helping me get there” states Mr. Spohn.
Antwain, a DC native, joined the GRID Alternatives team as a SolarCorps Construction Fellow after participating in the Sasha Bruce job training program, and is now the Mid-Atlantic’s new Construction Assistant. “I’m so happy to continue on with the GRID family. I’ve learned so much in my first year SolarCorps position and still have a lot to learn” states Mr. Nelson.
Both Mr. Spohn and Mr. Nelson have tremendous experience in solar installations and are huge assets to the team. We are very excited to see the Mid-Atlantic team growing everyday!
