Alexandra Wyatt

As Managing Policy Director and Counsel, Andie leads GRID's legislative and regulatory advocacy efforts at federal and state levels to assure equitable expansion of the clean energy economy. She coordinates with GRID regions, programs, communities, and coalition partners to translate real-world deployment experience into policy, and policy into real-world deployment. Andie holds a master's degree in environmental science and policy and a law degree, both from Duke University, and a bachelor's degree in environmental biology from DePauw University where she researched swallowtail butterfly ecology. Prior to GRID, she advised Congress members and staff on climate, energy, and environmental law at the Congressional Research Service, and worked in the private sector at an environmental, energy, and land use focused law firm.
