Monica Slabaugh

Monica Slabaugh (she/her) is a PV construction leader, certified residential electrician, and professor of solar energy technology based in Northern California. She has seven years of experience in solar installation including residential, commercial, battery/storage systems, and EVSE. Monica is Technical Programs Development Manager at GRID Alternatives (HQ Workforce). Previously, Monica was the Construction Manager at GRID Alternatives North Valley, and was an installation supervisor for four years. Outside of her work at GRID Alternatives, Monica is a part time professor at Cosumnes River College in Sacramento. Born and raised a Hoosier, Monica holds a bachelor of fine arts degree (sculpture) from Indiana University. Find Monica paddling the lakes and riverways of Northern California in her free time.
