SolarCorps SOMAH Technical Assistance Fellow
Luis was born in Bogota where he studied Industrial Design at the National University of Colombia. As his graduation project he designed and donated plans for a solar desalination plant for the San Andres Islands. He has lived in San Francisco and worked as an Industrial Designer for 20 years in a wide range of industries such as furniture, tech, consulting and consumer products; with some of his designs being awarded patents and are used nationwide. He has an MBA in Sustainability and is looking forward to utilizing his talents to improve communities in need and helping to conserve the environment as a SolarCorps Fellow at GRID Alternatives.
