In March, GRID partnered with COSEIA and SEI to conduct the first-ever Solar Ready Colorado Solar Career Expo. Colorado's expanding solar industry is contributing to job growth and the state's economy, as highlighted by the expo. Twelve solar employers of varying size and scope were featured, representing different aspects of the industry. The event sought to unite Colorado’s leading solar employers with qualified job-seekers looking to start careers in the solar industry.
Over 120 seasoned professionals, enthusiastic students, and individuals seeking a career change were represented at the job fair. This presented an important networking opportunity for many job-seekers, allowing them to make connections and professional contacts with others in their field. Employers emphasized the importance of training and continued education to be successful in this competitive industry.
