Volunteers

Rich Gordon is one of those volunteers that every non-profit hopes to have. He is dedicated, passionate, and volunteers.... a LOT. In fact, in just over a year, he has put in over 450 hours of volunteer time, including time at two Solarthons and becoming the star Team Leader in the GRID Alternatives North Valley office.

Miguel Rodriguez is about to pioneer solar in his neighborhood with help from GRID and a crew of hard-working job trainees from Green City Force.

GRID had a great day in Long Beach on Saturday, Sept. 21st when more than 175 volunteers— individual sponsors, corporate teams, job trainees and homeowners themselves— came out to install solar electric systems on nine homes for our fourth annual Greater Los Angeles Solarthon

Solarpermit.org makes it easier for solar contractors, including GRID Alternatives, to navigate permitting in different areas, saving time and money.

It was a typical GRID Colorado day - sunny skies and an awesome team of volunteers, raising solar panels to the roof of the small home of another wonderful family.

The Mtchona's came all the way from Malawi, and are one of the newest members of the GRID family. They have not only fulfilled their dreams of owning their own PV system, they've also decided to help other families in the Bay Area make their solar dreams come true.

The Bay Area Solarthon is coming to Richmond, where the benefits will be especially meaningful.

35 incoming Cal Poly students joined us in Los Osos as part of their "Week of Welcome" activities. They got to see first-hand the work we did to bring clean and affordable solar energy to the Thompson family's new home. It was a joy to see their enthusiasm for volunteerism, sustainability, and solar technology.
