Steven Lucero graduated from our Installations Basics Training on April 22nd , 2022. After successfully completing his training, the next step for him was to find a job in the solar industry. On May 9th , 2022, Steven started his new job as an entry level solar installer along with a few of his fellow trainees who graduated with him. Steven has been working at SJE Electric Inc. at an hourly rate of $20 since then.
Steven mentions that he had looming doubts about being able to find a job that he would enjoy. He says, even throughout the training I had my doubts about what the training would do for me, but now I am reaching my goals that I set in my five-year plan. Steven just purchased his new car and is working on his credit. He is determined to achieve his next goal of purchasing his first home.
