GRID Alternatives, in partnership with RE-Volv, is celebrating Solar Education Week April 15-21, 2018, to spark a national conversation about solar energy, energy access and a just transition to a clean energy economy. People around the country - GRID staff and volunteers included - will be hosting and attending events leading up to Earth Day to raise awareness about solar and clean energy access in their communities. You can do the same! This is a great time to tell others about your experience with GRID Alternatives and teach someone what you’ve learned with us.
To make spreading the word about solar energy as easy and fun as possible, GRID has revamped our Solar Futures Toolkit, which is a collection of activities useful for giving presentations to children in kindergarten through eighth grade about solar, energy efficiency and career paths in clean energy. We hope you’ll use it to inspire the next generation in your community!
