Happy One Year Anniversary for the GRID Mid-Atlantic Office!

The GRID Mid-Atlantic office has officially hit our one year mark and is ready to celebrate! It’s been an exciting 12 months for the Mid-Atlantic team and we would like to take a moment to briefly review what has been achieved over the last year. GRID Alternatives launched its Mid-Atlantic presence in fall 2014 with a series of installations and events in Washington, D.C.

GRID Tri-State September Happy Hour

GRID Tri-State hosted a happy hour in September at the Public House in New York City. Many of us had the opportunity to meet with GRID supporters and future volunteers.

GRID Alternatives’ Bay Area team is excited to announce that this year’s Bay Area Solarthon will take place in Richmond, CA on September 26th! Solarthon is GRID’s flagship community installation event, bringing together homeowners, volunteers, corporate sponsors and job-trainees to install solar for multiple low-income families in one day. This year, GRID is proud to host our second Solarthon in Richmond CA, a diverse and historically-rich community in the East Bay that while once was a center of industry, is now best known for high rates of crime, poverty, and pollution.
