If you haven’t heard – GRID Alternatives reached the milestone of 10,000 solar electric systems installed for underserved households nationwide.

April is national volunteer month and GRID Inland Empire kicked it off early with a Volunteer Appreciation event on March 8.

On June 27, 2017, Pamela went solar and installed solar. Getting up on the rooftop and installing her own solar panels is one of her favorite memories of GRID.

Cate was first introduced to solar while working in development and agriculture in Chad in the 1990s, and fell in love with solar. She decided to learn everything she could about solar energy, and volunteered with GRID to gain experience.

Homeowner Pamela Whyte is the sole breadwinner of her household with two adult children and one grandchild.
