Isamar Pena Diaz

Isamar Pena Diaz was born in New York, and raised in Humacao, Puerto Rico. She holds a B.S. in Social Work from the University of Puerto Rico in Humacao, a Masters in School Counseling from Alfred University in New York, and a Professional Coach Specialized in Resilience. In her career, she has worked, in educational and workforce environments such as Nicks Alliance Workforce in New York, and the University of CUNY, mentoring clients of different ethnic backgrounds and underserved communities. After years of serving in the educational environment, she worked in the coordination, management, and community outreach in the solar industry of a local Puerto Rican solar company. Isamar enjoys singing, dancing, reading, coaching people to overcome difficult processes in life, spending time with her family, and lastly, enjoys exploring new experiences aligned with her purpose in life.
