DAC-SASH Eligibility Requirements

The Disadvantaged Communities – Single-Family Solar Homes (DAC-SASH) Program provides qualifying low-income homeowners up-front rebates to defray the costs of installing a solar electric system. GRID Alternatives staff will work with you to determine if you meet the eligibility requirements below.

Eligibility Requirements

Eligible applicants must meet ALL of the following criteria to qualify:

  • Must receive electrical service from Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E), Southern California Edison (SCE), or San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E)
  • Must own and occupy a single-family home as applicant's primary residence
  • The residence address must be located in a disadvantaged community (DAC) identified by the CalEnviroScreen 4.0 map (only homes in the red areas qualify)
  • Total household income must not be more than CARE or FERA program limits
