Lyric Jackson

Lyric Jackson is a dedicated Grants Administrator specializing in securing funding for solar energy projects and renewable energy initiatives. Lyric holds an Associate’s degree in Journalism from Oklahoma City Community College, a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and Ethics as well as her Masters degree in Leadership and Ethics from the University of Mid-America Christian University. Lyric's background is with working for the State of Oklahoma for three years as the Program Manager and later promoted to Grants Director securing funding and making sure deliverables and compliances are met on over ten million-dollar grants for the state. With over twenty years of professional experience in auditing medical accounts and collecting data. Lyric plans on using her professional skills along with her passion for sustainability to help in her role at GRID. Lyric is new in the clean energy space and is eager to learn and play a pivotal role in driving innovative solar solutions.

Lyric oversees the full grants lifecycle, from identifying funding opportunities to making sure deliverables are met and ensuring proper fund utilization in compliance with donor requirements. Excited and looking forward to gaining more experience within the solar industry. Lyric’s ability to build strong relationships with funders and stakeholders has been instrumental in sustaining and expanding organizational programs here at GRID Alternatives.
Originally from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. In Lyric’s free time she values spending time with her family and friends. Making time to watch a good movie, listening to music, trying new restaurants, working out, reading a good book and traveling to new places while learning about other cultures with her family is her happy place.

When she's not working on changing the world, she loves to travel, spend time with her family and try new foods because she such a foodie! She believes this gift of life is about making memories with the ones that care about you and love you.
