While hundreds of world leaders descended on San Francisco, GRID showcased California low-income solar policy in action with State Senator Kevin de León and other leaders in San Francisco’s Bayview community.
“I’m on a single income that I get at the beginning of the month, and by the 10th, I’m broke,” shares Mrs. Morris, noting that the lower energy bills brought by solar would be a big help, if it weren’t for the up-front cost.

Earlier this month, on a scorching 119 degree day, the Wasik Family became the first fire survivors to receive a GRID solar system, nearly a year to the day after moving in to their rebuilt home.
