In celebration of Earth Day and their Global Volunteer Month, five Bank of America volunteers rolled up their sleeves this weekend to install solar for the Duenas family in Reedley, California.
An affordable senior living center just received 77 kW of solar on its roof, thanks to a partnership between Constellation, St. Ambrose Housing Aid Center (St. Ambrose), and GRID Alternatives Mid-Atlantic.
Watch the Helpful Honda Guys volunteer their time to help the Palacios family go solar! They’ve donated $200,000 through CBS EcoMedia to help GRID reach more families in Los Angeles.
GRID Alternatives Mid-Atlantic staff and Constellation volunteers began installing a 90 kW solar system today that will assist St. Ambrose Housing Aid Center in funding renovations at its senior living center, Aigburth Vale.
“GRID was one of the first organizations I learned about that Wells Fargo employees were really active in,” said Maria. “Our team members find it so rewarding to be a part of GRID’s work.”
Thanks to support from our longtime partner Wells Fargo, GRID is now operating in ten states, tribal communities nationally, and in Nicaragua and Nepal, and pioneering new models for delivering solar to underserved communities across the globe.
